Senior Kelby Taylor has signed a letter of intent to play football for Bethel University in McKenzie this fall.  Taylor played running back, linebacker, and offensive linebacker for the Bobcats for four years, but said running back was his favorite position.  He plans to major in business with the goal of becoming a business owner in the future, possibly in real estate.  As far as favorite memories, he said "scoring a touchdown is always good, but running out of the tunnel [with my teammates] is a great memory, too."  Taylor didn't play football until his freshman year, but has proven his worth to the team in these four years.  Coach Truett expressed how very proud he is of Taylor for his "never give up" attitude.  "Kelby has worked hard, and never gave up.  His dream didn't happen when he wanted it to, but he went after it, and now it's coming true."  Taylor is the son of Terrake Starks, and is also pictured with MCHS Football Coach Justin Truett, assistants David Grisham, Steve Ray, and Lucas Parett, along with principal Dr. Jerry Pyron.
