Brooklyn Chappell Signs with NEMCC
Brooklyn Chappell has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for the Northeast MS Community College Tigers this fall. Chappell has played both volleyball and basketball in her four years at MCHS. In her senior season, she tallied up 164 kills, 16 blocks, 36 aces, 157 digs, and 146 passes. Her performance on the court earned her a spot on the All District Team. She was also named to the All Academic Team in basketball. Chappell plans to major in Business Management, then transfer to either UTK or MTSU. She eventually plans to open her own hair salon. A favorite volleyball memory is the winning block this year against Southside in the District Semifinal Game. The block sent the Lady Cats to the Regional Tourney. Chappell is pictured with her parents, Logan and Lacey Chappell, and brothers Zaiden, Camden, and Cohen. Also pictured are grandparents Kristy Hopkins (Nana) and Ronnie Chappell (Papaw). |
