Healthcare Debate in Presidential Election
Mrs. Hurst’s classes have been researching healthcare issues Americans are facing and how each president candidate plans to fix or manage the issues. Over the last three weeks, students have researched and brought only facts, not opinions, to the debate held on Wednesday, September 11. After the debate, students voted for the president candidate of their choice by only considering healthcare issues. Mrs. Hurst said, "This assignment was to teach our future healthcare workers how to make evidence-based decisions. I am so proud of my kids. "
