Medicine Policy

Students are not allowed to have any medication in their possession at any time. If a student is required to take medication prescribed by a physician, a physician’s written order must be brought to the office by parent/guardian with the medicine.

If a student must take non-prescription medication during school hours, the parent must bring the unopened sealed container with the medicine to the front office and fill out the proper forms.

Students who violate the medicine policy are subject to disciplinary action. If you have any questions, please call the school nurse at 645-3226.

TDOE: Student Records and Confidentiality:
Student directory information for eleventh (11th) and twelfth (12th) graders shall be made available upon request to persons or groups which make students aware of occupational and educational options, including official recruiting representatives of the military forces of the state and the United States. The school shall annually notify parents that the school releases the names, addresses, and phone numbers of secondary students to military recruiters and institutions of higher education unless parents opt out.
