Proposed Intruder Drill

Tentatively scheduled for January 21, 2022, the MCHS Administration and  Law Enforcement personnel will conduct an "Intruder Drill" on campus.  The purpose for this drill is to ensure MCHS staff perform an accurate initiation of the steps to follow in the event that an intruder is on campus.  Law enforcement will also gauge an estimated response time for first responders, while the school's administrators walk the halls to make sure guidelines are in place.

The MCHS staff will be given ample notice prior to the given date, and the term "drill" will be emphasized.  When the announcement is made on said date, the announcer will say "This is an Intruder Drill" to ensure that students know it is a practice scenario.
