Lady Bobcat standout Khyla Wade-Warren has officially signed to play at the college level for Texas Tech next year. Wade-Warren is a 6'2 post player who joined the 1,000 point club in her junior year. "In 50 years of MCHS history, we have signed 61 Lady Bobcats to play on the college level," said Lady Bobcat Coach Jerry Lott. "Khyla is the first player to sign for a Power 5 school." Wade-Warren says her favorite basketball memory is from her sophomore year. In the final few seconds of the game, Khyla says "I fouled out. As I walked to the bench, I realized we had won the district championship." Wade-Warren is pictured with her parents Misty Wade Reece and husband Thomas Reece, father Jerry Warren, grandmother Marilyn Wade, and her siblings Khylon Wade-Warren, Aslyn, JaMichael, and Zyon Reece.
