The Little Theater was the setting for the annual Miss MCHS Pageant, held on February 9. Sponsored by FBLA, the event was opened with a welcome by Chaseton Whitten. Whitten introduced the emcees for the evening, Mr. & Miss MCHS, Logan Roberts and Alexa Morrison. View all the photos here.

Seven contestants were vying for the Princess crown, including Jayden Austin, Callie Beth Barkley, Breanna Howard, Makayla King, Chloe Newcomb, Lauren Phegley, and Khyla Wade-Warren. The Princess division is open to freshmen and sophomores. The young ladies entered the stage as a group, then returned for their individual introductions. After some deliberation, and entertainment provided by Abi Melton, the judges returned with a decision. Selected as Princess was sophomore Jayden Austin. 1st Alternate was freshman Lauren Phegley, and 2nd Alternate was freshman Khyla Wade-Warren.

After a brief intermission, five young ladies sought the title of Queen, including Katie Allen, Amelia Lamberth, Taylor Parmely, Macey Scott, and Sophie Whitaker. Following a group parade and individual introductions, the judges left to deliberate. Ana Grace Ashe provided entertainment during the break. Selected as Queen was junior Katie Allen. 1st Alternate was senior Amelia Lamberth, and 2nd Alternate was senior Taylor Parmely.
